Seen a putter for a fair bit less than anywhere else however it is the wrong length (35), I need it a couple of inches shorter. How much is this likely to cost and could the new grip be re-used?

A tenner. And yes, they should be able to syringe the grip off and reuse it

Kev, I did it with a Scotty, took it from 35 to 33. The pro that I took lessons with did it for me at the time, he checked some stuff on a machine thing, and balance points etc, well that's what it looked like to me, then cut it down, we used lead tape to rebalance, it worked great, this was about ten years ago like, but it can certainly be done.

Just make sure they cut it off the top, not the bottom!
