Custom fit booked tomorrow

cool looks a good place..

I had a custom fit couple weeks ago and basically they started by measuring wrist to floor to see if i needed the clubs longer in length. I took my current clubs to compare to the others i tried.

They had a system called flightscope which basically told you everything from swing speed, spin rate, smash factor, height of ball, carry distant ect

Then you try out different clubs, shafts to find the right set up for you

Loved the JPX800 Pro when I hit them and that was with the stock regular shaft. If you can get a shaft to suit they will give you a nice feel as all forged clubs do and a decent amount of forgiveness without feeling as though you have a chunky GI club in your hand

so im back !

hit the jpx pro and the mp53 ..........i choose the mp53
,feel is amazing compared to the jpx pro which is a nice club but the mp53 is lovely !!
very consistent , dispersion was good very good !
the guy Roy is excellent very informatve and helpful !
, tried a few shafts he recommended Nippon pro tour , then he did my lie and length

ive just got to decide whether to go for it or not

oh right so did you not compare the 2 clubs through the stats that would have been picked up?

we did my swing speed with th jpx 800 pro was 70/71 which led to lower spin speeds , then i tried the mp 53 and my swing speed went up to 76 ..... there was alot of data on the screen and we compared the 2 clubs on the screen and alth there was alot of data on the screen i never really took alot of notice just went with the advice from him

hmmm.. not sure then. I wouldnt think that by putting a dsifferent club in your hand should mean a faster swing speed!!

When i had my custom fit my swing speed was 86 whether it was with a nike club or a taylormade club. That way i knew my swing was the same with each club used so the results that was shown was down to the different clubs and shafts.

to be honest it just felt better in my hand when i was swinging it ! cant really explan it, however the main thing for me was the dispersion with the jpx800 some were long some short! however i just seemed to nail the mp53 the same distance and straight !! i may email him for my stats ! i didnt really know they would provide me with some stats!!

as long as they felt good to use its just when i went for mine i compared the clubs against each other and against the set i was using to make sure i was getting something that was better than i currently had, ie spin rate, distance, ect

he was comparing them on the screen , showing 1 club in blue the other in red, then with the different shafts

my spin rate is low as apparently hit the ball slightly on the up and i grip down the shaft!
so apparently i need a low kicking shaft! im a bit useless at understanding the technology!
