Curtis Cup

Great result but agree with the comments about the lack of coverage. I didn't even realise it was on telly at all and had been following as best I could online.

Shame because these players really are the elite of the amateur game and it'd be good to watch.

I sky+ it, but didnt get round to watching them and seen the result on here.

I went on sky sports golf section yesterday and not even a headline report.

Always love watching the Ryder cup, Solheim cup, Walker cup and would have watched this for a few hours, if it would have been on.

On the professional side, forummers might be surprised to learn there was a women's major last week as well.

Back 9 was captivating viewing, albeit on the red button and then with 2 holes to go the red button disappeared at mine :( Watched the play off, really pleased for Brooke Henderson and you have to credit both Ko and Jutanagum (sp?) for both the quality of their golf and sportsmanship (both clapped Henderson putts over the last couple of holes, Ko the one that beat her!) Henderson just had a week she will never forget (including a hole in one and giving her sister the car) before becoming the youngest ever major winner (taking it from Ko)

Ko is still the youngest winner by 5 months. Henderson second. Was great viewing, was pulling for Ko to win 3 in a row but also for Henderson as she is a great talent and has come through the ranks well.
