I had one of those for a couple of rounds. There was a money back guarantee. Off set has always been considered a way to reduce a slice and could be seen on many makes of drivers in those days and irons even now.

Didn't keep it then. ;)

I gave one a test drive, uncomfortable with it but I seemed to hit the ball quite straight.

Ronnie Shade was the big ambassador for the company.
Can't recall if he was still an amateur in those days.

From my memory (it was a long time ago) I went from that to a Lynx 2 wood and the extra loft made quite a difference.

No you tube rubbish videos here, just plain old FACTS. Go and buy Callaway X Speed and set it to +2 Draw. I've got one. The wife has one. A mate has just bought one. All of us have that dreaded slice. The loss of distance was huge. Not anymore. Get one of the Callaway drivers and your slice problems will go away (mostly). Occasionally we get a slight draw as well. More distance! My mate is absolutely thrilled with his new purchase. "The best money I've ever spent".

Job Done !

Shame you’ll be hitting a 5 iron from 150 yards instead of a 7 to compensate for that slice ?

Lessons !!!!!!? Our pro is 50 notes for an hour. So to sort your swing out could be countless lessons. THEN time spent on the range perfecting the new technique. How can this be possibly better than £150 or less for the, ok maybe any adjustable driver, set to plus 2 draw? Sorry but lessons? Nutz to that! LOL.

Because the club doesn’t change your swing or ball flight.

I've seen lots of people, specially seniors, close the driver face slightly at address, all of them bang down the middle every time ?
I'm assuming it squares up the club to match the out to in swing path. I certainly wouldn't recommend it if you're a longish driver of the ball but I'd certainly be giving it a blast at the range.

You don't need to spend hours on the range and hundreds of pounds on new drivers or lessons, you just need to aim right to correct the swingpath and strengthen the grip a touch to square up the clubface at impact.

So you buy a wonky club to compensate for your wonky swing.
Hmmm;)
It will end in tears.
Same as saying I can hit it further with my 3 wood than my driver

I've got a set of the irons but the woods just don't suit my eye so I've never bothered with a set.

Coincidentally I was looking at some today and they just don't sit right at address for me.

Formed in the early 1960s by millionaire Jack Onions. Kenilworth. A revolutionary (kooky) idea with offset shafts, particularly in woods, to give no offset.
Company was restarted by Matthew Mockridge in 1984 making just the woods in West Sussex, didn't last for long though.

Sold in America too, see advert below.

Me no understand??? I thought I was offering good advice. After all this is what the club manufacturers are making these things for. And this one actually works. I can safely say my mate would not spend his time on lessons and working on his swing, and neither would my wife. Me? Maybe, but with this thing available, it's a very quick fix. 240 yards down (yup measured) the fairway instead of in the long grass and struggling. I can now more or less score the same. No massive total scores like I used to have on a regular basis. It's a tad monotonous but a nice monotonous.
