Easy solution, find a club that has a SSS higher than par. Then you can shoot your handicap and still get cut.

if you want cut thats the way forward imo.
I've a mate that only enters opens at courses where the SSS is higher than par but then he's off scratch. i remember him telling me about one course where he kept shooting under par and still going up 0.1

Just checked results of our Saturday medal. Course SSS is 72 - CSS was 73. So thankfully my nett 74 was in buffer zone and no +0.1 for me I note that my nett 74 put me in 12th out of a field of 50. Rather reflected by the CSS being 73. Pity the doubles and triples I had
