Not I, but in perfect candor, brown graphite shafts sound good to me.

One of the best wedges I ever played, a MacGregor FCW-6 53º, has a brown painted steel shaft.
If steel shafts didn't make my ex-boxer hands swell, I might still be playing it.

They crop up on ebay occasionally, I'm not sure whether they're American or Japanese, maybe connections to both.

There's a set with some space connection if I remember correctly.
I've not played any but they look decent enough.

Edit:
Just found these on ebay, which are the ones I referred to above, the asking price is silly and won't be achieved unless I'm very much mistaken.

Many thanks for the MacGregor (FCW) reference. It triggered a search that brought up a MyGolfSpy article of the company - and, sadly, its demise, but also some of its highlights. https://mygolfspy.com/historys-mysteries-the-demise-of-macgregor-golf. Very interesting read, with many of the incidents/decisions still appropriate to sporting goods companies today!
Their VFoil wedges were likely my favourite wedges and VIP irons were right up there as favourites too. I still use their (Miura forged) PCB Tours, so still a 'fan'!
