Had the honour of being invited to play at St. Andrews and crail at the weekend and what a pleasure it was, a special place
Nice photos. I nobbled my drive off the first at Crail years ago in the cabbage behind the ladies tee...lipped out for par though! Love to go back to St Andrews soon.
Were you playing with Euan Cameron by any chance mate
Hes a top bloke and great player is Euan, Kenny is a cracking fella as well played with him a few times. Would have been good to meet up with you lads next time you come add Scotscraig on your listYes Steve, he looked after us again, he's a top bloke, sorted us out on the old course Friday and the new course Saturday and got his mate Kenny to get us on crail on Sunday, spent most the weekend sat in the old course clubhouse having a beer, the view out the window never gets boring does it, brilliant weekend, your name came up a few times, shame we couldn't meet up...maybe next time,
Pleasure to watch Euan knock it round the old course, ask him about the 18 th ( that's all I'll say ) your spoilt up there mate, brilliant place, I've heard scotscraig's a must play, hopefully next time, cheers mateHes a top bloke and great player is Euan, Kenny is a cracking fella as well played with him a few times. I'll ask him later, we are lucky to be honest and we still complain . We're lucky in away that we can golf all year with the courses still in good knick and pay half what most clubs in England charge
My mate was gutted when Euan told him how much his membership is I'm looking at retirement homes up there,
Its some deal when you stay in St Andrews, played with some Americans and they couldn't believe golf is that cheap up here
Played Craighead yesterday and it was in smashing nick.
Our Caddie - Stevie knows him from his club - was good craic on the way around too and me managed a T7th placing which after 3 days solid on the batter with the Tartan Army was a fair result!
Spoilt for choice up there, the view from crail is stunning, kingsbarns, Carnoustie. Loved the place. Passed another course coming out of crail, looked good is it lundin ? Or something like that ?
Not mate that'll be Elie a nice course but a bit up themselves if know what i mean
looks quality , cant wait to play there next year  Hopefully without the rain you had though
