Coverage of Middle aged fat bloke golf in Golf monthly! or lack of it

Month after month I flick though the pages of Golf Monthly and all I ever see are fit slim your guys, in pro articles, instruction and interviews.

Where are the fat middle aged instruction articles etc.

Are GM Fatist? Why are they not catering for the majority of there readership, there should be pages set aside for the more portly golfer and not just the odd photo of Jez Elwood.

There some GM readers (and leading forummers) in the last edition. Some of them certainly qualify under the description above.

Had my picture in the magazine a few times and I more than qualify for the fatty group. I feel that my ample frame has been amply represented and the coverage of Darren Clarke and any old picture of Lee Westwood add to the fatty coverage. I feel we are well covered on the PGA as well.

I was the token fatty in the jan issue alongside the trim & fit HomerJ ,, i blame the camera it seemingly adds a few pounds , told them not to use so many bloody cameras & NOT wide angle .. did they listen ?? bloody Kevin Murray im still trying to find your address matey .. i will find you (think Daniel Day Lewis in last of the mohicans [sp])

a foot fetish section
a pink fluffy ladies section
a junior section showing off young nubiles who can hit the ball further and straighter than any of us oldies

a bald section on hats and suntan cream
and a ginger section, as they are normally in the minority

This is aimed at the men with tiny man jewels that dont want to get too cold.

Uncalled for and unnecessary hurtfulness Mr Elwood... id complain but its true ... good page filler for a quiet month tho eh
