A good cover version should IMO be a new take on the original and not just a copy. One of my favourites is Fine Young Cannibals version of The Buzzcocks’ Ever Fallen In Love. Not better than the original, but great in its own right.

Both massive NO's from me, Candi Statton's You've Got The Love is a stone cold classic and shouldn't have been "popped up" by FATM.

It is in my top 10 songs.. Nothing against Springsteen as Born to Run is also in my top 10. Chris Thompson has a great voice. You may recognise his voice from War of the Worlds, Thunderchild.
