Courses you'd like to play but haven't got round to it

Tell me more, Rodders. I walked the course at the ladies open this year, but haven't played it yet. An itch to scratch for me too.

Probables for end of this year and 2015:-

St. Enodoc
Alwoodley
K Club
Carton house
Druids Glen
Aberdovey

On the radar:-

Sherwood
Hollinwell
Prestatyn
Seacroft
Burnham and Berrow
H4H venue if it keeps moving around

St Enodoc is on mine as well mate. I was thinking of a 2016 jolly boys venture down to Devon/Cornwall to play St Enodoc, Saunton (both), RND, Trevose and a few others.. What you reckon?

We have already played Prestatyn this year?

Boooo - I've played both Saunton courses and hopefully playing St Enodoc in the next 2 weeks.

RND, Trevose and Burnham and berrow sound good.

To break up the links courses St. Mellion would be good.

I would like to play the Sauntons again at some point as I played the 36 in one day, and it passed my by TBH. I was knackered.

Nice on the radar list
an excellent way to play Hollinwell, Lindrick and Sherwood is the heathland classic
http://heathlandgolfclassic.co.uk/ > I played them all at various times last year in Opens and am returning in 2015.
for Seacroft, a similar event is in June called the Lincolnshire Swing, which gets you the Hotchkin at Woodhall Spa

Looks good that, always during the week though aren't they?

Dormy house at B&Berrow also.

I might have a walk by Trevose with the dog, any walks close, dave?

Loads mate its a really nice area..
Follow the signs to mother iveys bay caravan park and Theres a car park just a bit further down the road.
From there you can walk down The back of the green of the 4th hole (below)
Then walk across Constantine bay beach which runs down the back of the course

I am hoping to play Banff springs next year.

Played it a few years back. Classic design and stunning scenery. Some other good golf nearby. I liked Stewart Creek in Canmore, a bit along the road back towards Calgary, and also played Silvertip. It was pretty scenic too, although pretty much everything is around there, although the course was a bit quirky in places. Watch out for bears.

Definitely. Must be able to get a fourball sorted. Never heard of Huntercombe but looks good from their website

Definitely worth a visit, even just for the views. Slightly quirky, slightly stuffy feel and pretty much a 2-ball Club. You'll certainly be able to recognise a Red Kite afterwards! One of only a couple of Par 3 starting holes that isn't a pain (Kilspindie is another)!

I've got a beautiful original artwork of 4 or 5 red kites over my stairs, courtesy of this year's Henley Arts Trail. Fabulous brides to watch, we are so lucky to have them over us all the time here. Very big. If they ever come down onto the fairway you see how really big they are, especially the dominant males.
