Courses open in Warwickshire

Forest of Arden is normally a good draining place have you tried there?

Seriously? They put new drainage in this year? Gets very boggy over there albeit they do try and keep it open. We played there last March and as it always seems to be in winter was borderline whether it shouldve even been open

Yep seriously, the drainage system they initially had was known as being one of the best around. Don't know what has gone wrong if this is the case. I played it a few years back after a longish spell of wet weather and it was dry as a bone. Admit that it was nothing like the rain we are having currently but it was still superb to say. Unless it has developed a fault or something

Sorry but must disagree. Right from the outset the front nine has been boggy in wet weather although the second nine in the old deer park is much better.

I heard that the courses were shut earlier this week but I cannot be definite on that.

Strange. It was in great nick when I went. I read an article about the drainage system it had installed somewhere, I will see if I can find it.
