Courses near Doncaster

I want to take my mate out for a round before his stag do, any recommendations for courses near Doncaster or North Nottingham.

Would be on a Friday and don't want it to be too expensive

I have played Bawtry golf club and enjoyed that ?

Another is styrrup Hall just of the A1 near Blyth. Not played that.

Karstan Lakes wouldn’t be too much of a drive in that area. Should be in decent condition at this time of year.

Doncaster GC is probably about the best.
Bawtry a good alternative.

What about Worksop? English Amateur this year.

Nice course but some uphill slogs.

Lindrick is about 30mins away and a fantastic course, but, probably doesn’t meet the not too expensive criteria, relative to the others
