Has anyone been to their course to check its satus?

No chance of getting down the road and don't need to....just looking outside is enough to tell anyone it'll not be open for a good while.

That Postcard is a true reflection of our place, its 12" deep here, so the 'Santa Trophy' on the 17th may even be in doubt.

I got an email from my parents in north lincs today Bobmac, there is a van stuck in the snow outside their house!! looks like they had at least 14" so far!

Not checked and I doubt our website will ever get updated before the thaw and the next lot comes.

Went down my club earlier for a cuppa,there were 7 players out on the frozen course,must have been freezing as there was a biting wind,thats either commitment or madness.

Received an email from club saying "the Golf Club business and operations will be closed until 4th December and continually reviewed thereafter"

So closed until Saturday at minute but will be longer than that as there is no way we are getting shot of the snow we have before then according to the forecast

Spoke to our pro today and he said its closed and he can't see it being open for ages.
Do you think Valdarama or the Earth Course in Dubai would take a two for one ?

Course closed. Clubhouse on reduced hours. 2 and a bit foot of snow... Doubt we'll see green until January.... If we're lucky.

Officially closed. Drive past each morning - under at least 6 inches of currently virgin snow - was expecting to see toboggan tracks down the 5th fairway, which has an especially good hill for sledging, as the schools in the area were closed, but no sign so far.

Not only is the course closed but they have cancelled Friday evenings annual prize giving ... and there's me with an unused tin of Duraglit!!

We've only got a really light dusting of snow but because it's so cold it aint going anywhere.

Closed last 2 days and can't see it improving any time soon.

Drove past Marlborough GC today, snow everywhere but there were a few people out having a bat!! Dedication??
