Course management or bottler?

In a competition good course management in a friendly bottler. What I don't understand, other than why you are such a wimp in a social knock , is how your friend scored bogey with four shots? Drive into the rough, shot that bounced on the ice and finished on the green, two putts ?????

Trouble is. Al, if you'd gone for it you'd have been 30 yards through. Chipping back on frozen ground towards the pond - you'd have gone in it.
A bogey on that hole is never a bad score.

Cant be bothered to reread if I wrote it wrong or you read it wrong but his 3rd was onto the ice and hopping onto the green(lucky git!!)


Ye, I am a go for it player and hate not to but it seemed the right call. I did win, winning is all that matters if thats what you set out to do but I am worried that I have set myself a bad example... :mmm:

Good play....would probably have ended up a long way over the back, then you go to chip back onto a frozen green towards the lake.
