Hi all anybodys course closed this morning until lunchtime like mine, being in South Wales we get nothing but rain anyway plus the fact my course is on a mountain top makes it worse, another winter league cancellation. On the plus side went down pub to watch rugby Ireland played well,Wales I will say nothing on that game.

I can beat that one....
I havent hit a ball in 5 weekends over here over the weather.....
We're getting some battering at the moment :(

Hit balls at the range today. Dry but a biting (well for down south) wind and cold. Off tomorrow to play a texas scramble so looking forward to plenty of sodden fairways and gale force winds no end

Course closed all flipping week, can't blame them though, the greenkeepers cant work on the course in this weather and I suppose the rest will do it good in the long run.Looks like I'll give the new Dan Brown novel a going over, should pass Sunday nicely.

We've been closed for a few days now. Course was closed on Friday and I was told on Friday night that it was remaining closed for the weekend.

Cetainly been a wet and wild few days so hopefuly this closure will have helped the course not turn into a mudbath.

I don't have a problem with that decision.

I play in gowran park in Kilkenny. Its virtually been closed for the last month. We have had floods in this part of the world like never seen before

Hi H J Simpson I play at Neath Golf Club it is probably too far afield from New Tredegar, but there are some nice courses around your area you are moving to.Good luck
