tiger - played 2 lost 2 ..still early days in the presidents cup but surely couples would have been better pickin someone like keegan bradely rather than tiger ..or was he bullied into the pick by tv /ticket sales or his management company etc - ur views !

Id say he reckoned his old mate Tiger needed the pick more than the others ,wouldnt say freddie has ever played golf with KB but would have played many around with tiger, thats what friends do when one needs a hand ..

I agree the sceptics will win and Boom Boom will say the usual that everybody contributed but imagine how Keegan Bradley must feel given that he has won a major and wasn't selected. Maybe Freddie has something against those hideous long putters

Even with a singles win it was hardly a glittering captains endorsement. Much done to rehabitate him into playing again perhaps and to give the Presidents Cup a bit of credence and publicity which must be waning as the US keep winning in the same way the RC lost its sparkle until it switched to Europe v US

His performance in the singles was exceptional. He would probably have beaten almost anybody on the day, but his performances over the week were poor... Maybe thats what we can expect from Tiger at the moment, flashes of the old brilliance, bracketed by arduous slogs through the rough... I would say that even in the singles, his putting wasn't as good as it used to be..

i think the performance during the fourball and foursomes was not too bad.to be fair stricker and johnson were playing a lot worse than tiger and that makes it hard.

as for the singles he was brilliant,he was -5 at one point and to give credit to baddeley he was -2 so not much you can do.

I agree that the reviews have been very good even from his opponent. However his performance in terms of points won wasn't domineering. If you look at his RC record as well, apart from singles it isn't what you might expect from the ex #1. Maybe he doesn't play as a team player and his dads drive for him to be the best and his driven pursuit of that don't make him an ideal partner. I stand by my comment that he only got the pick because the Presidents cup has become so one sided it is losing any appeal and money making potential and it needed Tiger more than he needed it
