County Cards

Don't believe all you read on golf forums.;)

I phoned Royal Liverpool and they dont accept Lancashire ones.

I think it changes from club to club, as Sandiway do accept Lancashire ones. I guess it depends on how much they need visitor fees, or not.

Basically the rule is, members of your club cannot have a county card unless your club accepts them.

All the clubs that accept them are on the link I posted earlier.

You need to contact each club individually to see the terms and conditions for use as some are Monday-Friday only and some after a certain time.

We let people use them 7 days a week after 3pm May-August and after 2pm September and October.

There's a downloadable excel sheet on the page below which lists all of the clubs you can use a Lancs County card, listed by county.

Different counties have different rules and rates. I'm pretty sure that all English counties (except Cornwall) accept all other cards. It seems Wales do not accept English cards. Not sure about Scotland & Ireland.

But each club also has its own acceptance rules.

Yorkshire charges £10 for a single but clubs can bulk buy for (I think) £1 per member.

BB&O seem to be co-ordinating the scheme. There may be a handover to EG in future if details can be sorted.
