• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

Could Tiger miss the cut.

Why not?
He didn't play particularly well yesterday and if he plays a little worse today then he most certainly could.

He's going to win tournaments until he dies but I think we've seen the best of him. Jack's record is some way off yet.

I hope he does. From the 1st tee yesterday he looked like he'd rather be anywhere else in the world, and his antics throughout the round were shocking.Throwing clubs and acting like a spoilt wee brat is not the type of thing I like to see in the champion golfer.

Now Jimenez is front I'd love him to stay there, there's a guy who oozes class

Not if the scores keep going backwards....
He'll probably work out a way to get round in a reasonable score and be safe.

The way a lot of them are playing today, (not watching it live, but have the scoreboard up...only four of them under par today so far...conditions must be bad!), I was about to say that nearly *all* of them might miss the cut.

But then I realised what a stupid thing to say that would be!

Weekend off for Tiger + Steve. Wounder what they will do? Sight seeing trip, hunt for the Loch Ness Monster, go get rat arsed in Edinburgh?

He hasnt been the same since the operation.

It seems to be the consistency and ability to grind out scores that have deserted Tiger. He has set a level for himself over the years but he can't seem to maintain it at the moment......although , it wouldn't suprise me if given a few more monts , he gets back to his best .
