Conwy Golf Club ?

Anyone played it ?

We're off to North Wales in a few weeks with a gang of friends, and the fella's have booked a Tee Time for Conwy, - I gather its a Championship links, used for regional qualification rounds etc.

Not cheap, but hopefully well worth it ?

Not played it myself mate but one of my good friends who has played golf all over the world for many years, including going to St Andrews every year for a week
always says that Conway is his favourite course he's ever played.

I'm hoping to play it myself this year.

I think it is an excellent course. A bit rough around the edges (but it is a links!) and some really great holes.

Played it twice at the weekend with our winter league from my club, in my opinion a very good course.
We played it off the whites but there are other championship tees.We were treated very well in the club house and the Captain even came out to say hello.
Not as long as many links i have played but some great holes even the short ones are tricky.
Then of course there are the views the weather was very good and just a bit of a wind to make a difference, quite flat as well and gets a little tight towards the end. Practice facilities are very good to it has a range two putting greens a chipping green and a practice bunker.

played it last year on a lovely spring day, breezy but fresh. Whilst my home course was still boggy this place was in great condition, with bunkers in all the right (or should that be wrong!) places.

You won't be able to blame the greens for any missed puts!!
