Always liked this guy ever since I saw him playing in the Ryder Cup. I think his attitude is brilliant and has a game to suit. Came 4th in the US Open and now this win today. With his excellent driving stats, current form and serious mental strength do you think he may be a good value bet for the Open?

Sorry, cant agree, he seems like just another emotionless Scandinavian robot that they produce in some factory in the Arctic circle somewhere! The last thing golf needs is one of these winning our Open. We need more of the Cabrera types who goes to the pub rather than the gym! - bit of a throw back to the old days - we need more players in the Sevvy, Trevino mould.

Agree totally with Birdieman on this, Fasth is an overated ar*$

He lost the plot with his caddy yesterday when he couldn’t instantly provide him with the yardage to the pin. He blasted his caddy with “Hurry up man we’re on the clock”. Felt quite sorry for the caddy actually.

There was only one reason he was on the clock yesterday and that’s because he took an age to play every shot. He’s known on the Tour as the slowest player by miles, yesterday just proved it.
