Congrats to Michael Hoey

Just wanted to say how pleased I was to see that Michael Hoey was able to hold off the challenge from his fellow countrymen McIlroy and McDowell and win the Dunhill Links title. He's been in their shadow for quite a while after his share of health problems and it's great that he's broken through with a major win (not that kind of major) at last. Hopefully this'll be the start of a great run for him.

I don't know what it is about our wee country but Northern Ireland is playing a blinder at the minute!

I would of preferred McDowell to win if im honest, but maybe that was cos I had a little wager on him at 50/1!!

Northern Ireland seems to be the centre of the golfing universe at the minute.Amazing that such a wee country can produce so much talent.

I watched Michael play a few weeks ago in the Irish PGA championship at the Hilton Templepatrick. It was blowing a gale, he hit some amazing shots. Although he didnt win that event we could tell the difference in his game compared to the others. Well done Michael,
He seems a really down to earth guy, not like some I could name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
