"For his skill, Id wear a red nose and honk a horn."

Not during your opponents backswing I hope.

That would be poor form my good man !

I am over the moon that he won, he seems very genuine and is just a credit to his family and the people of N. Ireland etc...

I said in another post we would learn a lot about his true potential depending on whether he throws it away or not and was biting my nails watching him close out the round- however he overcame this setback and is a deserved champion who can and now will go onto better things.

What can I say very well deserved for Rory that was a fantastic win of one of the biggest tournaments on the tour. Like Brendy I have also saw Rory hit a ball up close (i work for Rory's coach) and next to Tiger he is the best ball striker I have ever saw. That win moves Rory to 15th in the world rankings which is quite incredible considering he has been on tour just over a year and is 19. I fancy him for a major this year and definitely top 10 in the world.

I am pleased for him and I hope he keeps that ability to hang on and not let it slip, still time for him to faulter but looking a very good future prospect I must admit at the moment.

Hey up Adam, if you were working this week it was an easy one, closed yesterday and today! Michaels next job is to get me swinging like a champ now, something tells me it wont be as rewarding for him haha.

Hey Tony, yup Bangor Golf Club is right, I have played there for about 8 years now since I was 12. I'm currently playing of 6 but haven't really played much in the last year but I am getting the urge again so hope to play a lot this year and get down to 4 or so. Just need to get the flatstick into gear. I also work in the pro shop at weekends for Michael the guy who coaches Rory, it is pretty cool as I often get to see Rory getting lessons and get to see all his cool titleist prototype gear. Thanks for the welcome.

Holywood GC is the club that he lived closest to and joined as a juvenile as his dad was a member there too. Its not a bad course with two nines that couldnt be more opposite if they tried. The back nine nearly needs mountain goat caddys, not necessarily a bad thing but its not for the weak hearted.
