I bought this fairway wood because I just don't always get along with some of my hybrids and my 3 wood can be slightly erratic.
I can hit this straight and long, even a poor shot can go 160 yards and at times I can hit it 190 yards. I am actually better from the semi rough with it than off the fairway or off the tee but I am now using a red tee which seems to have coincided with my consistency. I have the 7 wood on order
