They say you should have around a 5degree gap between each club through your bag….

Mine looks like this, only real gap is the Driver to 5 wood, maybe filled with a new 3 wood in the future but don't really need one as like driver off the tee and can't hit one well off the deck.
The other possible change would be in the Wedge department. Currently have Mizuno irons and PW/GW and I find the distance of them to be inconsistent in comparison to my Vokey SW and LW (i.e. get a lot less distance from the Vokeys compared to the Mizunos).

10.5" Driver
18" 5 Wood
22 Hybrid
22 - 41 4-9iron
46 PW
51 GW
56 SW
60 LW

Any thoughts? I can squeeze one more club in - and yes I am bored at work watching the clock tick over!

Your set up seems ok to me, it depends on the type of course you are playing. My home track is short so the short game is a key part hence why I have dropped the 5wd and added a 60*, tbh I would drop the 3wd for a 16 or 18* Hybrid anyday of the week.

You dont need anything more, honestly.

I carry much the same, and cant think when I have ever been short of a suitable club, its always me that loses the shots

I know I failed my maths A-level but I count 13 clubs in your list and I assume you have a putter also????? :)

Where is the space for the extra club?

Looks good to me. I have the same except -LW and + 3 wood.

I also don't bother with my 4 iron, I use my utility to cover 3-4 iron distance. Having said that, I've got a real 3 iron which I put in for short course days.....only for tee shots mind you.....

If your driver is really reliable, and you don't like a 3 wood off the deck, then stick with it....I'd always have a 3 wood with a 10-12 degree driver in the bag for when accuracy is paramount.....

I use a set up that suits me.

My driver is 10.5 degrees which I can easily smack off of the deck if required.

I have a 17 degree 4 wood.

My hybrid is 19 degrees which I use as a repalacement for clubs ranging from 1-3 iron.

4-PW

52 degree gap wedge which I use from 80 yards in, its a club I'm comfortable with.

58 degree lob wedge which is for greenside/bunkers.

I have a gap between my all my wedges however thats how I'm comfortable and I can happily play knock downs and punches, christ I]ve seen myself punch in a 9 iron from 30 yards before!
