Money List Winner
Today I play in the club knockout for a place in the last 4. I was play a girl off 16 so I was receiving 7 shots. The mathcd was amazing, well I think it was.
Hole 1 par 3, she won with a par to my 5, I down
Hole 2 par 4 getting a shot, she hole a monster from the fringe for a par, I 2 putted for a half, still one down.
Hole 3 par 5 getting a shot, we both had a par, hole to me all square.
Hole 4, par 3 she has a gimme for a par, I hole from 25 feet for a birdie, 1 up.
Hole 5 par 4 getting a shot hole halved her 5 to my 6.
Hole 6 par five again she has a giime par, I hole from 20 ft for a birdie, 2 up.
Hole 7 par 4 bit of a mess for us both, I win with a 6, 3 up
Hole 8 par 5 halved in 6.
Hole 9 par 3, she wins with a par to my 5, back to 2 up
Hole 10, par 4 getting a shot, putting disaster by me, halved with a net 6.
Hole 11 par 5 halved in par, she holed a 20 footer.
Hole 12 par 3, she wins with a par to my 4 only 1 up.
Hole 13 par 4 getting a shot, both down in 5 so win for me, 2 up
Hole 14 par 3, halved in par (up and down from the bunker for me).
Hole 15 par 5 getting a shot. I have a tap in for 6 she holes for a birdie only 1 up.
Hole 16 par 4, I hole from 15 feet for a half in 5
Hole 17 par 5 getting a shot, both had 6s so hole to me for a 2 &1 win.
We played the 18th to finished off. and afterwards checked the scores, allowing for conceded putts she went round in 82 for a nett 66, I went round in 90 for a net 67.
At the end of the round I was drained mentally, I have never put so much into a round of golf.
She had 9 pars and one birdie, I had 3 pars and 2 birdies!!
By coincidence we pyaed together in the 4BBB last week and won with 38 pts, today we would have had 45.
Sorry if its a long boring post but we both agreed it was a fantastic match that I just had to share.
