Club gap

I very recently decided to take up playing golf again after a number of years away from the game and have an old set of clubs I got down from the attic.
I decided to check them for any damage and noticed they all have a gap where the shaft is joined to the club head and was wondering if that is normal or whether they need to be repaired.

If it bothers you, can usually move it back, sometimes needs a little heat, and pop some glue.

All the clubs have ferrules on but they appear to be a little bit up the shaft rather than right up against the head
