Imagine this...

I got offered a job to start on Monday, it was currently Tuesday so packed my bags, drove 300 miles to what will be my new home county. Stayed in a bed and breakfast while flat hunting, found a place. Moved in on Saturday, unpacked Sunday.

Work started on Monday the 25th, 2007... With no clocks in the flat bar my new mobile phone I relied on it to get me up in time.

Turns out it was not as fancy as I thought as it did not change time automatically and I was one hour late! I did wake up at 8am (actually 9) thinking it was awfully light outside!

Thankfully still employed with them now :D

Years ago we had a comp on this Sunday just after the clocks went forward.
Out of 50 entrants only 1 didn't show up until an hour late.
He then proceeded to tip the Guy in the shop a new one for not ringing him up to get him there on time.
Somewhat surprisingly he was the only one who felt that way..

Just had a call from my 9am Client today - wondering where I am.
Seems he put his clock back instead of forward - now thinks it's 9.17....

How do these people make it to adulthood..?

Made sure the clocks went the right way this morning - was on shift.
Went for my break at 2,came back it was 4 - brilliant, nearly home time.

I hadn't realised they were going forward until there was a post on here somewhere, I still forgot to change them, but thankfully my phone that is incapable of picking up a decent signal got one thing right and changed the clock for me :)
