Climbing the walls...

I've been ok up till now, primarily because the weather has been terrible. But that golf itch is increasingly needing scratching. Texas Scramble last week was fun but I'm longing for 18 holes of strokeplay. It's been seven weeks since my last fix and I've got plenty of other itches. My putter with all the recent tweaks feels like a brand new wand, I've just bought a 'new' hybrid off eBay that I'm desperate to hit, I've got a new driver on order that I'm longing to receive and I'm praying Direct Golf will be able to order my new 3 wood. Praise the lord it's my birthday soon!!!!!

I hear you man! After almost breaking my personal best two weeks ago,then not getting any golf last weekend due to wedding commitments,I cant wait to get going! I am finally hitting my hybrid really well and I am looking forward to getting some action! Let me know how you get on with your next round bud!

I know the feeling Tiger. Just back from 18 (well about 9pm). It was my 1st round for 2 weeks and boy did it show.

course is crap atm aswell, rough is a joke, greens havent fully recovered from being under water last week.

I did 1 putt 4 greens though despite there condition but apart from that it was a slog. 3 pars and numerous doubles and a couple of triples = rubbish scoring. I had 44 for front 9 (9 over) but the back nine was nearer 104 (maybe not but it felt like it)

I always play crap when I go straight from work. Might not bother in future and just play on my days off and use work days for practice only.
