When buying clubs it is easy to be taken in by good looks and lets be honest the mashie is not a thing of beauty. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this beauty is staying in my bag. Fed up with the inconsistency of the fairway woods I got an 18 degree mashie +, off the tee from the fairway and more importantly out of the rough this thing is long with a nice high flight. But more importantly it is so easy to hit - Cleveland may not have gone for the most aesthetically pleasing club but it does the most important thing it performs so its a big :thup: from me.
