Hi guys,

Just thought Id post on here to see if I could get any useful tips on cleaning the inside of my golf bag.

I played at the weekend and found that all my wegde grips were really sticky, not in a good way (ie tacky)

Upon finishing the round I did what all of us would do, stripped out the bag and gave everything a good clean. I discovered a mint that one of my playing partners must have some how dropped into my bag and had left a residue in the bottom. I poured some boiling water with fairy liquid in, but it was not long before this had drained out through some drainage holes which I had not noticed.

It all looked clean and I had managed to recover the offending sweet using my v-easy (v-handy for tihs job) and stuffed some kitchen towel down for a while before recovering that too using the v-easy. Job done...

Upon taking my nice clean bag and clubs to the practice range last night, I noticed that the butts of my wedges were in the same state as before!! ? :mmm:

Has anyone else had a similar problem, What can I do?? (Buying a new bag is not an option at this point)

Many thanks, Will

ps I use a titleist RC cart bag.

do you have a pressure washer or steamer?

or cillit bang(or similar product) on a cloth and use the butt end of a club to wipe away residue, then wash/rinse out with very hot water in the garden, leave to dry naturally
