How can they expect young people to join this organisation when they do not even offer equal rights for women.
Something the civilised world accepted nearly 100 years ago.

the bible teaches equality but different roles.

if you want to be in line with the rest of the civilised world your not really getting the point of the bible.

Do you not find it strange that a woman can become Prime Minister of the UK but is not allowed to become a C of E Bishop.
Is not The Queen the head of the Church of England.

I am just looking for answers to questions that I indefensible.
I just cannot understand the large number of objections to female Bishops in England.
I would like to know what the different rolls of equality are.

I want them to have as many outmoded,dated and downright crazy customs and traditions as possible.

Then hopefully it will die out like all religions should.

My mother and father are total god botheres, they go to church many times a week and as a result are totally blind and brain washed. I actually don't talk to them any more but a little wile before I made that decision my father sent me a petition to sign that was about banning gay marriage. I really have no idea at all how people find the time to be against something that is not going to change there lives in any way shape or form. I doubt my father has ever even met a gay man but he somehow against them doing something that really will never impact on his life.

These people are small minded know it all fools, they base there life on a piece of text from thousands of years ago, there are weak people who need something to tell them how to live there lives and something to hide behind so they don't have to think for themselves.

It is not stable behaviour and is dangerous!!!:rant:

I agree with 100% of that. Kudos for being able to say that about your parents :thup: ....quite refreshing to read.
