Ours used to be the first weekend in December but the last couple of years including this one the wife has found a reason to bring it forward.

As mentioned in an earlier thread, some loon had the Christmas decorations up on the 26th October on my estate.
Ours will be going up a little earlier this year. they normally go up the weekend after wor lasses birthday (6th Dec), but we've a lot on the weekend of the 12th/13th, so they will be going up this weekend.

Monday 14th here. We get a real tree and Monday is a quiet day at the local forestry where they sell them, otherwise it's a scrum at the weekend. IMO 2 weeks before is about right. I get sick of the sight of it any earlier. If I had my way I'd put it up on Christmas Eve, all traditional with a bottle of wine and the Christmas CD on :thup:
