Christmas Day

Played last year on christmas day nothing open, there was about 20 people playing, befor sitting down to a christmas dinner

Having just checked the weather forecast, I dont think we'll be going anywhere this year, except maybe sledging which is not easy in Lincolnshire

I love my golf as much as the next guy but not on Christmas day, I'll play any of the other 364 if I get the chance but for me Christmas day is family only.

Im not playing on Christmas Day but got game planned the day after, hopefully have good weather.

Our club is locked completely on that day including the front gates so I can't get in even if I was suicidal enough to want a game (HID would soon put my shiny new Z stars into an unplayable lie). Boxing Day is different gravy and a great way to work off the excess

I dont think its right to leave my family on Christmas day to play, will go for a drink with the captain, we have a free bar for an hour 12-1...then we have a comp on my birthday (boxing day) where all the holes are turned into par 3s, should be fun

Well I have got the we man a 3 wood and a 7/8 iron, sorry Santa has!! How cute do these wee clubs look, awesome wee clubs with graphite shafts!! Haha, better than my first set which were my grans old selection!

Wonder if I'll be allowed to take him for a few holes????

I wouldn't even consider suggesting having a round. It'd be my sphericals in my mouth at dinner time, not turkey.

I'm perfectly happy spending the day with my family. It's just one day in the year guys! A time for family, pigging out, then sleeping it off whilst the Queen drones out a speech writen for her by some cap doffer!
