I can't stand Chris Huhne, he comes over so smug and arrogant and I'm pleased that the CPS has decided to press charges as he appeared to pass over nearly as many points as Oddsocks did on the back 9 at Westerham on Wednesday

They must have a decent case, because annoying their paymasters in Westminster is not a thing the CPS & police would do lightly.

Plenty of people play the points sharing game, but then they are not MPs. He's finished... for a few years... somehow they all come weasling back after a while saying how sorry they are and that they've learned from their mistakes etc. :blah:

He has consistantly denied the accusations but what I like in the case compared to other MP's misdemenours is that it's black and white. He either did the offence or didn't and it's hard to come back to high office from a criminal conviction, where as, most of the resignations are for unproven accusations and therefore the offenders slink back after an "appropriate" time in exile.

**cough** Peter Mandleson *cough**

Isn't he a Lord now?

Its funny how this came out in the divorce with his former wife
she shopped him in the belief that he would be damaged.
Did she not think that this would open her up to prosecution too
