Looking for some advice chaps

As part of some stag celebrations in June/July, the golfers amongst our group are organising a golf day preferably around the Cheshire area

Apart from Macdonald Portal (already have that booked for a weekend away in July) do you guys recommend any courses that would accomodate approx 12 of us for the following :

9 holes (par 3 course would be fine) followed by
Breakfast/Bite to eat followed by
18 holes with Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive comps followed by
Meal, Ale and hopefully a few games of snooker

Any recommendations greatly appreciated

Cheers in advance

Commercial but Carden Park or Mottram hall would be obvious choices. Had a good society day at Huyton and Prescott last year. Further north Formby Hall has a decent 9hole par three course for a morning warm up and a decent 18hole parkland course for the afternoon.

This is my old club, fantastic course in my opinion and a 5 minute drive from Chester City Centre. Lovely club house overlooking the 18th. Great food, friendly staff and usually gets great feedback from visiting societies. I'm absoulutely certain they would be able to tailor a day to suit your group.

Plenty of decent par 3's for nearest the pin. Some great par 4 and 5's for longest/straightest drive etc.

If you're after accommodation as well it'd be Carden Park for me!

Without hotel I'd throw Aldersey Green into the mix (if you're looking at Chester area) pretty much visitor driven, and the food quality and portion size is 2nd to none! Only problem is transport it's a bit out in the sticks!

Check out ingon manor I played there a month ago an was highly delighted with the condition of the course we stayed on site while we were working that way the hotel is great and the bar and eating areas top notch

+1 or the par 3 course here.... One of the best I have ever played...
