She has kindly sent me her Strokesaver for the Marquess to use on the meet in March. Poshest strokesaver I've ever come across, bit gutted she wants it back! :D Might have to buy one while I'm there anyway lol or I could just get one for the Dukes. Some of the holes look a bit narrow!

Now I shall spend the next two months making sure I properly know how to use one of these bad boys and to make sure that I know where all the hazards are so I can let my playing partners know if needed

Will send back once the day is done.

Thanks again.

hope it doesnt rain and wreck the strofesaver, i played turnberry a few weeks ago in the sleet. had a pile of mush in my back pocket

Seems waterproof to me (it's probably not) - it's not your normal paper strokesaver it's like a mini ring binder and the pages are made of stiff, thin card. Very good stuff. If it gets ruined I'll buy her a new'un to replace anyway.

A pleasure and it was a freebie and I think HID must have one somewhere around the house. So no worries if it gets wet or muddy or whatever as I'm hopeless at using them anyhow and only hope I may play the Marquess again - perhaps courtesy of Nespresso again :)

They might as well be written in Greek as far as I am concerned.

I shall use my gps, and my laser. And then fat it short.

As I doubt I'll get much of a look in from Aztecs I'll buy my own as a keepsake anyway and rely on my SC. As Aztec is rarely on the fairway it'll be hard for me to get an accurate reading from his lie in the trees and will hold play up waiting for him to join us on the short stuff. Once I've got my SC reading I'll hit a glorious power fade off the timber some 50 yards in front and lose the hole to Aztecs jammy 6

Don't think Woburn has any hidden lakes just out of sight in the middle of the fairway Jon. I cunningly shanked my tee shot at that hole at Camberley to avoid the lake, although I am trying to forgot that day.:(

I shanked my tee shot too. It's the best angle into the green, or so I hear.

Murph, I'd love to rely on my laser and GPS...but I have neither :(
