Have you seen the weather - its chucking it down at the mo - so much for taking a flexi day off to play. Might go out this afternoon if it brightens up or hit a range for an hour.

you know you can't plan such things, use the power of the sickie
(then when you go back in next day you can heroically tell them that you feel bad about letting them down and will take it as a flexi)

At our club, all lost items are pinned to a noticeboard (yet to see a sw done this way!) usually head covers and towels though. The odd club does make its way into the pro shop, I think they stay there until they decompose though rather than get sold on.

Oh I forgot, positive discrimination is allowed against the white English population but no one else.

I do sometimes wonder why half the people browse this forum, I am sure eastenders, coronation street and heat magazine have a forum that would be more suited to some.

Please don't tell me the context in which this post was titled was not racist. I have had to listen to months of discrimination, predjudice, racist and sexist lectures this year.

Not to mention the numerous amounts of complaints I dealt with in my old job from travellers claiming racist incidents against them by use of the word gypsy being used to describe or address them.

And parmo if you had idea about positive discrimination, you'd know it is a method used to give everyone an equal chance at whatever it applies to.

Get back to the golf cause the rest of the arguements are tosh.

That is awesome! Now my computer wallpaper for few days as its keeping a smile on my face in this crap weather.

This forum is getting proper angry latly with everyone jumping on each other to bitch and moan. Where is the love? Virtual group hug to you all...... Does that feel any better?

ain't no such animal - discrimination is discrimination. you're either for it or agin' it, you can't pick and choose.

quite simply to positively discriminate in favour of one you <u>have</u> to actively discriminate against another.

Evening all. I was having a very dull and dreary journey home till I stumbled on this thread. Very amusing.

Out of curiosity I'm Black British. If I do as Parmo suggests do I become a Black British gypsy or just a gypsy?

I agree with TonyN on this,the word gypsy is not a raciest word as it is in the oxford dictionary it is the way the word as been employed with the word theiving thats what the point i think Tony is trying to make.
