Checking someones profile ??

I frequently mischeck on someones profile when browsing the forums on the phone and the stupid adds shift the page display just as you go to press on a thread. The amount of times this happens is infuriating.

I use it to check someone's age sometimes. If they have entered it in the 'about me' tab anyway. Sometimes a person's age goes a long way towards explaining why they have certain views. Occasionally their about me section will have other info they haven't put in their signature as well, like handicap and where they play etc. Just for curiosity.

I may have clicked inadvertently on someone's but for no other reason, so why do folk do it ??

All this tosh about fat fingers and doing it by mistake. I do it because I'm nosey.

It's also the way to set 'Ignore' on (and off)!

Pure and simple - people are nosy and hoping to find something on you that they can use to discredit some claim or other you make

The written word can easily be misunderstood .
