Right then, need a TV for my man cave. needs to have:

2 x HDMI

1 x Component (for Wii)

Built in Freeview

Nice to have DVD integrated, but not a deal breaker as Xbox will be connected. USB might be nice, so i can get Chromecast.

No need for smart etc, litterally gonna be used for the kids to play xbox/wii and watch the news while i'm working, maybe the odd sports game (via Sky/Xbox)

Dont want to spend more the 200quid, ideally 32"

What have you seen??

This is probably leading the way, http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd...ung-t31d310-32-led-tv-10072241-pdt.html#cat-0

Either that or the Sony KDL32R433. Costs a bit more But is another nice TV For the money. Really can't imagine getting much better in those price ranges. Avoid intergrated DVD like the plague.

check you local ASDA though. If they have a Polaroid 3-32-LED 14 it would definately be worth a look

The toshibas are only HDReady(720)- you want to look for the FullHD. (1080 )

We just bought a Technika from Tesco, 24, with DVD, FullHD for £150. Picture is extremely good. Sound currently a bit tinny. Compared to the previous HDReady the picture quality is miles better.

Unless you are sitting really close the differences aren't that great between 720P and 1080P on a 32" TV. A good quality 720P screen will deliver a better picture than a low end 1080P one.

On saying that the Samsung that GrieninFife has posted should offer the best of both. A quality 1080P screen at a good price from a good brand.

On the technical side if your kids like playing fast paced games then that TV is ideal thanks to a really low input lag ;)
