While checking my online bank account, I happened to notice my Internet provider had increased my payments by 33%
A quick phone call later and it was back to normal.
If you are with AOL it might be worthwhile checking in case they'v done you too.

Yup aol long gone, worst thing is their software seems to take over your pc, best thing I done was remove aol abd their Wank software from my pc

we've had the same kind of problem with 3 broadband whenever we go over our data allowance. cant ditch them though as we'd be left with bad old dial-up from then on

One of my best mates is an IT whizz. He said the worst internet provider is AOL. They run loads of software in the background that traces your internet habits. It's used by certain companies to then e-mail you with offers, etc. It also fills up your PC/laptop with rubbish and makes it really, really slow.

AOL is a 'don't buy' at Which, for their lousy service and poor quality broadband.

I had never had an AOL account or knowingly used an AOL product yet I found that they were debiting my bank account - how? The bank had to chase them to get it back - took a while too.
