Out of contract in six months, and wouldn't sign a new one, so expected. £2.5 million is good money for a player that could have gone for a fraction of that a the start of the season. Only this season has he played well. Great left foot, but not a great attitude it seems. Likes a sulk, and think he had a fall out with McDermott.
Hopefully we will use the money on a new striker, otherwise we will fall further down the league.
