Last Sunday, I travelled to Wales with a friend and family to play all 3 courses at Celtic manor.

For me, the thing that surprised me the most was how friendly all the staff were ! I understand that they have to be friendly, as it is their job :blah: but they treated you so well and I was really impressed.
If anyone was contemplating whether to go there or not, I would strongly advise you to go. Best golf courses I have ever played, and seeming as I nearly got a hole in one on the 2010 course, I definitely enjoyed it

you would have had the nice weather to go with it then as well.Personally I like all 3 courses as well, love the hole over the hill on the Monty (the par 5)

The 3rd? If so I agree, such a good hole that looks out onto the 2010. Unfortunately we did not have a buggy for the monty, we could barely walk on the 18th !

Thats the one up and over the hill and looking down to the left over the 2010,hit a cracking birdie there nearly in for an eagle. It is pretty steep,we also waled but would buggy it next time. The other two are easily walkable though.
