I was reading his obituary on the BBC and amazed to discover he survived over 40 years following pancreatic cancer. Even with the Whipple operation, very few make it beyond 5 years. Many would never have heard of him, but millions were affected by him as he was co-creator of the incredible Call of Duty franchise and also Medal of Honor.
The real sadness is that he was only 55yrs old.
