Aw…that’s sad…a comedy and panto/variety genius. Way back then we loved it when he did Parliamo Glasgow sketches…rather dated of course but simpler times and still amusing.

Nothing to do with there being a god or not. Quite simply a Narcissistic vile human being that is so desperate to relevance he has to make these disgusting comments. Ultimately it’s worked he’s hung talked about and put himself back at the front of the news.
The post was that the country was respected, not the individual. No, he's never been respected.

Indeed. God gave us free will and ‘weeps’ at evil and harm done by vile individuals.
That the evangelical right of US Christianity continue to support this individual, despite their claimed beliefs, causes most of faith outside of their orbit to utterly despair of them, and to pray that some day soon they will heed the guidance of their faith and their God and see the error of their ways. Unfortunately I do not hold my breath.
I have a number of very good American friends. I refuse to tar so many good people with a simplest generalisation. Their views are the same as our views. Their beliefs in doing good around the world, supplying aid for less fortunate(wealthy) countries hasn’t changed.
Anyway, this is the celebs who have passed thread.
