Cawder Golf Club

I haven't played it myself but from what I understand it's a very short 9 hole course - first hole is only 72 yards, and the 9th is the only one to break 200 years at 247 so I wouldn't bother packing your driver...

I would pop down and play as I'm only just along the road in Nairn but I'm sure I'll end up with customers needing things fixed so won't happen.

Where abouts are you sweeney?

Eh??? That would be Cawdor Golf Club you're thinking of.

Cawder Golf Club is just to the North of Glasgow, see here http://www.cawdergolfclub.com/

I played both courses there last year. The smaller Keir course (or "The Wummins Coorse" as it's known in the local vernacular)is shorter at 5,871 yards with not much in the way of trouble to ... er, trouble you. The longer Cawder course is 6,297 yards and has much more interesting and challenging holes, my favourite by far. Great club house etc. If you can manage through to the Open you'll have a great day!
