Come on then J_F whats the draw for Spey Valley then??????

Come on spill the beans. Draw, draw, draw........

I want times names and handicaps, I need to know to the second what time I will need to leave at to allow me to have my warm up and do my stretching.

I may even go and walk the course fist so that I know where the pins are! :)

Ok. Will work out a draw shortly. Need some volunteers to play AGAINST Golf Monthly for my team from Clarks Bar. First come first served. And nominations for a GM team Captain for the day. We'll then liaise on pairings. :D

As long as I'm on the opposite side from John "the jinx" Findlay.

I assume you need 3 persons to jump ship and join the pub golf outing! Pffffft good luck. Pressed men and all that John, leads to mutiny, unrest in the ranks!

Why not draw numbers from 1-21 (leaving number 17 in the pot ;)) first 3 out join your gang of outlaws?

Team captain, easy job. I'm yer man I've already got the breasts like Monty, plus I've already spied your "sandwich sheet!"

John,

Stick Mike and I down for the Clark's Bar team if needed, Mike is used to switching allegiance at short notice, bloody turncoat that he is. :p

Excellent John. Proud to have you aboard the Skylark. MM is so used to playing for team England that he should be inspirational playing for a (predominantly) Scottish one. Worryingly for team Clarks your addition to our team brings the average handicap down by buckets!

Ok. That's my team of 18 sorted. Numbers 21-36 on the Spey Valley list plus Toad and Mike Melville. Now let's see what the cream of the GM forum, hailing from all four corners of the nation, can do against an Edinburgh pub team, some of whom don't know one end of a stick from the other.

:D

My style of captaincy will be "laissez faire".... as we have 18 captains on the pitch already! I will be asking my guys who wants to play with who and providing encouragement only in the form of a kitty at the bar in Nairn afterwards. That should do the trick, I think.

Wagers on the match? Hee haw. Half my team are semi-pro gamblers who have BetFair on speed dial. You don't wanna go there. Trust me.

;)

Ah but, Steve, what a day to choose. You'll probably have 14 pars in a row again and scoop a golfing holiday with Natalie Gulbis as yer prize.

Or maybe a bag of tees.

I was going to suggest myself and my brother to cross over for the scots, might have made it more interesting for bragging rights!

Ach, Brendy. You snooze you lose mate. Now if only you'd got your names in earlier you might have ended up with some points.

Anyway, I thought you were gonna be thecraw's vice captain. It would give you a chance to move his team selections around.

I'll get my coat.
