Castle Stuart individual arrangements

Not sure if this will work, but I've created a spreadsheet on google docs where you can enter individual travel arrangements. Might help to co-ordinate arrangements when booking car hire, hotels etc. Oh, and should make a few beers easier to arrange !

Ive added mine and my brothers, Where is everyone staying as i havent settled on anywhere yet as I didnt want to be too far away from the pubs etc, I assume most are staying as central to Inverness as possible?

Staying overnight in Inverness (cheap B&B) and will then (hopefully) scrounge a lift down to Spey Valley on Friday morning, finally ending up at the caravan park in Nairn sharing with HTL, Vig & Viscount17 until Tuesday morning.

Right...have had my confirmation now so here goes:

Drive up Thursday night

Friday: Hopefully golf at Dornoch - anyone else fancy it?
Saturday: Castle Stuart
Sunday: Nairn with JF's lot hopefully
Monday: Drive to Dover!!

Gonna get a B&B - there are some with quite decent rates (c£30 single) out there....April in the North in a caravan is a little too adventurous for me!!

Have spoken to Dave (Vig) and Steve (Viscount17) this evening, Dave is booking one of the bigger 'vans up for the three of us along with HTL and the the other two guys that Dave is driving up with.
So that's 6 grown men sharing a caravan in Nairn. Should be good for a laugh, fridge full of beer and the lounge full of stale farts.

Trust me, even with the biggest ones we'll be sharing 3 to a van, which means a room each. That only works out at £53 a head for the 3 nights. 6 to a van might be half the cost but it's definitely worth the £26 extra. Bear in mind that the caravan site might frown upon such a large 'same sex" party in one van. Who's volunteering to be the girls?

I stay in vans with my pool team 3 or 4 times a year. If you can avoid it you really don't want 2 in a room.

The single beds are barely wide enough to fit 1 person on, and the gap between them is about a foot.

Don't forget also that 1 room will have a double bed.

We always let the same guy have the double. One year apparently he fell off a single bed in his sleeping bag and got stuck in the gap between the beds and couldn't get up.

He was still there in the morning when we got up!

We have booked three in ours, I suppose someone could always use the lounge as a bedroom also if it gets too crowded or starts into the blazing saddles beans scene over in your gaff smiffy!

Point taken John, and I have contacted Vig this morning to maybe book two "Lismore" vans with 3 in each instead of the one van we were planning.
It wasn't due to wanting to save the money, we just thought it would be a laugh with six of us in one van but I can see the point of not having enough room.
By the way....I was going to be sleeping in the lounge, and we were going to toss for who was going to be the girl each evening. The caravan site were OK with it, but they wanted to have the video rights.
