Castle Stuart GM Outing-Spey Valley on Friday

Evening again gents.

Well, we have Castle Stuart sorted. We have Nairn sorted. Now for Spey Valley on the Friday.

Got confirmation from Spey Valley today that they have no problem accommodating us all from around 12.30pm on the Friday 23rd April as provisionally reserved. That way most of the flyers have a chance to get from Inverness airport down to Aviemore in time.

I calculate that 32 of us have committed so far. 8 perfect fourballs! See the list below. Please let me know if you want to play and aren't on the list or vice versa.

No problem with the number of golfers increasing. They have plenty tee times available at about a 12.30 start. They have 30 buggies available so as long as we are playing in 4's they can comfortably accommodate us for those too. They are included.

Tee time intervals are 10 mins so if we start at 12.30 we will be teeing off until 13.40 based on present numbers. They can accommodate our group in one sitting for the 2 course evening meal which is included in the deal, so no problem there. Coffee and bacon rolls are included before the off.

Total price will be £55. A £15 deposit per person is required upon confirmation, which I think is very reasonable, so I'll be looking for cheques from all playing soon. Will just do it the same way MikeH did for Castle Stuart probably.

Best to confirm sooner rather than later because bookings are beginning to come in for spring next year. Any questions please give me a buzz.

Have to say the best score there last year amongst our dirty dozen was 29 points! We thought that was pretty good too. Definitely a toughy! But absolutely gorgeous!

Ok gents. Posting this on 23rd March. Just a month to go until this game and unfortunately we've had a couple of call offs.

Joe Simpson, aka cbtopof, has had to withdraw through injury so there's a space available in his stead. If anyone who's playing at Castle Stuart the day after wants to join us then let me know. Or even if you're not and you just have that Friday free. It's a cracking course and a good deal. Tee times from 12.30 to 13.50.

Tommo21 has also had to call off (although he's playing Castle Stuart the next day) but I believe madandra may be filling his space. Andy, is that correct?
