Cardiff Sacking Malky Mackay

Because he couldn't afford Liverpool! Thought he was Malaysian not Chinese?

At a field today and The Cardiff fans were amazing today in support of mackay when we went three up before half time I was hoping it wouldn't be six or seven as that would have given tan an excuse to get rid of him,

At least twice today, Cardiff fans sang Vincent out, Malky in (or words to that effect). 40,000 liverpool fans clapped. Some sense in football, at least.

All that means very little when he is at home , he will not be the manager at Cardiff soon and as for the fans , well next week they be back at the ground with a new manager and tan will give him money to spend and if they do well all will be forgotten , thats how life is , only fools think otherwise , I hope he goes on to better things ...........................................EYG

He is Malaysian Chinese , me , I was born in KL Malaysia , 17 when I came over , I speak Malaysian and Chinese , I understand the way of life and culture and trust me something has rattle Vincent tan`s case , he has lost face and that's why we have got what is going on ..............nothing to do with spending 15 million , the guy has got billions so that's a smokescreen , its not good for all parties so they all have to move on .....................eyg

Liverbirdie

The song was don't sack Mackay, Malkie mackay, you just don't seem to understand

Still got the bloody song in my head ten hours after the match - probably the best washy fans we have had this season

On the other hand any manager in industry or commerce who had gone over budget to the extent that Mackay has allegedly done would find his coat on a very shaky nail.

Malky was in budget, as the budget was for transfers and not full packages. The big man is not budging as he is on circa £20k p/w and still has some time left on his contract which will be void if he resigns

Malky Mackay has been sacked as manager by Cardiff City after a meeting of the club's board of directors.

It's becoming another Chelsea situation. Who is going to want to manage a club when the manager is told one thing then another then another!

Let's be honest he was never going to walk away & miss out on the pay off. Hope they get relegated now. Got to feel for the fans.

Cardiff are in free fall now. Watching them yesterday the players looked demoralised to me, and who wouldn't be with a nutjob like that as your employer? And I'm afraid having run the Ninian Park gauntlet of anti-English hatred (the new ground is far more 'sterile', but the streets outside are just as unsafe) , I've got bugger all sympathy for their fans. Goodbye and good riddance...

Their away fans at Anfield this season were amongst the best we have had, the club shouldnt be penalised for the local scallies who go looking for trouble but dont go the match, we have plenty of them! local scrotes that should be shot, the police should round up any gangs of youths walking round anfield road/ the arkles 5 mins before the final whistle, only one reason why they are there.

The fans dont deserve to suffer from Tan, we too have had our share of idiot owners! Fan ownership is the way forward

Every club has its fair share of idiots I agree, just from my personal experience Cardiff seems to have a whole village worth, when they visited us a couple of years ago one of their 'firms' were walking up St Mary St having a go at anybody and everybody, football fans or not, women, dads with kids.
Utter scum.

Fan ownership is the way forward

You might want to ask Portsmouth fans how thats working for them:ears:

I suppose it depends on the size of the fan base, would work better for the bigger clubs ;-)

Had some aggro from Cardiff fans during my time going away with Fulham but that aside, a case of another overseas owner dabbling in a club as a play thing. Sam Hamman all over again

I assume You are aware that Khan has only bought you so that he can move the Jacksonville Jaguars to London and has no real interest in football?

Not sure I have too much sympathy for him. Yeah he deserved more of a shot, but asking for more cash having spent £50m is a bit cheeky. As for the fans, they were all loving him when they got promoted. Would they rather be in the championship struggling, as per last 50 years??

Nope and I think the poor dealings in the pre-season transfer market, crap start to the season and inevitable sacking of Jol are indicative of an owner out of touch with life in the PL. For all his faults, Al Fayed was a great chairman for Fulham and without doubt without him we'd have gone bust or out of the league

Too true. I went to Ninian park many years ago now with my home town club Chesterfield and the atmosphere was the most vicious and dangerous I have ever experienced. Also a while after they smashed up parts of our town in the fixture the season after so have no sympathy for them. The worst set of fans I have ever seen for trouble. All clubs have their hooligans but Cardiff seemed to have lots more than any other club. At the end of the day it is Tans club and he can do what he wants and while ever fans keep going through the turnstiles paying their money he will not care one bit
