i noticed this the other day also, the top web link was showing secure something or other, check that you are in the forums.golf-monthly.co.uk address and not the one that starts secure.

I couldnt do it last night on tablet or iphone but its worked fine this morning on pc
OK, I've had this problem since the site was down, the address is normal for all posts but when I go into settings it is, as you state 'secure'! I have attempted to remove the word 'secure' from the address bar but then I get a warning saying the site is not trusted?
Please advise.

the secure is there as it seems like that part is now https which means any data sent is encrypted where as before it was sent plain text. I would imagine there would need to be a patch from vbulletin of it may be just as simple as changing a setting through the looking glass

Yes, my signature box has now become white (not grey) and usable.

Tim, mine is still greyed out....don't know what to do about it. Tried removing the secure part of the URL but keeps reverting to the same secure page when I hit enter.

Never thought about using IE - problem looks like it was with chrome. All updated now.
If you don't like IE, then use Firefox, its OK on their now also.
